A Conversation for Great Zoos and Wildlife Parks
Hagenbeck's Tierpark, Hamburg, Germany
Mat Started conversation Dec 2, 2008
Hagenbeck's Tierpark is Germany's only independantly run zoo and has been operated by the Hagenbeck family since Carl Hagenbeck opened the gates over a hundred years ago. Its impressive and has all the things you would expect. They also recently opened a Troparium which includes crocodiles and sharks.
I'm lucky enough to live next to the zoo and can watch brown bears running around in their enclosure from my balcony.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
