A Conversation for Great Zoos and Wildlife Parks

Hagenbeck's Tierpark, Hamburg, Germany

Post 1

Hagenbeck's Tierpark is Germany's only independantly run zoo and has been operated by the Hagenbeck family since Carl Hagenbeck opened the gates over a hundred years ago. Its impressive and has all the things you would expect. They also recently opened a Troparium which includes crocodiles and sharks.

I'm lucky enough to live next to the zoo and can watch brown bears running around in their enclosure from my balcony. smiley - biggrin
