A Conversation for The Beat Generation

My favoorite Ginsberg poem is undoubtedly "Sphincter". I'm not in any way a great fan of mankind...perhaps it is an impossibility to be born in the 80's and hold any hippie sentimentalities. But I reckon the ethos towards art that the Beat generation created, is something that should be held true. It puts into perspective what being free and honest is all about. Too many people just write to *shock* or be obscene...just for the sake of it. Being free & honest is a completely different thing.
I'm just a little sad that I only discovered them all recently...long long days after they died.
Great article - although it feels a little constricted.
