It is an odd conceit that humans, when they aren't busy killing, mutilating or overwhelming each other with laws, spend a lot of time not thinking about why we don't get many visitors from the other galaxies, particularly the ones with decent health care, trained barbers and priests who can actally perform something besides mime.
