Pray tell, what is the Quo track that this 'Tush Push' fits to? I would like to demonstrate it at the apprpriate moment at their next gig so they can fully appreciate the institution.
...That and for my own, personal pleasure next time they're on the stereo.

One fo the best sources of line dance 'scripts' (the steps for a dance) is the Linedancer magazine web-site. You'll find them at:

They have a search engine that allows you to search their dance database according to dance name, track, artist or album. Just type Tush Push in the Dance Name field. Alternatively, you can type Tush Push in the Quick Search box on the front page. The dance is the second one on the list that appears. (The first one is a wheelchair adaptation. I've never seen people in wheelchairs line dancing, but there's no reason why they shouldn't.)

The 'Tush Push' is a dance that will fit to just about any tune with four beats to the bar. That's why it's so popular. The track I had in mind when I wrote the article was 'Down The Dustpipe', which I have on my 'Whatever You Want - The Very Best of Status Quo' CD. I have never heard it played at a Quo concert. However, if you do a search for a dance called 'Angel Rock' on the Linedancer site, you'll find a dance that was choreographed to "Rockin' All Over The World". That's one song that is *always* played at Quo concerts. One warning though. The dance is easy to learn, but you need to be fast on your feet to fit the steps to the tune.

'The Wanderer' is another song that is often played at Quo concerts, and there's a dance called 'Stateside Wanderers' that was choreographed to the Quo version of that song.

I think the dances I've mentioned are fairly straightforward. If there are any steps that you don't understand, the Linedancer site has a glossary, so you can check them out there.

I've been to two Quo concerts, which is why I said that 'Down the Dustpipe' doesn't often get played. "Rockin' All Over The World" and 'The Wanderer' were played at both.

If you are going to linedance at a concert, you'll need to pick somewhere with reasonable amount of space. Line dancing isn't done 'on the spot'. You find yourself moving forwards, backwards and sideways. The two dances I mentioned don't involve as much movement as some dances I know (no 'grapevines' in them, for example), but you do move a bit. Try them at home and find out exactly how much space you need for each one. Keep this in mind if you have an option on where you stand during the concert. (I've never seen anybody *sit* through a Quo concert, even though everybody had a seat!)
