A Conversation for Card Games

I just have one query, and that is that I didn't see an explanation of what constitutes a Piquet pack.
I only ask as there are many card games that use a Piquet pack, which is a deck of cards containing 32 cards, with the Ace, King, Queen, Jack, ten, nine, eight and seven of each suit. The other cards being discarded, and usually two packs being used. They are also often a deal smaller than a normal deck, and are bought in a container. The packs I have used have had a very fancy design on the back.
The popular games that spring to mind are Canasta and Piquet.
Also another popular game, especially in Casinos, is Kalooki, which is a variant of Rummy.
Great fun, especially for beginners, although very addictive.
