A Conversation for A Brief History of Toast
Stolen Toast
Lochinvar Started conversation Oct 8, 2001
Today, like most Sundays I went to the college dining-hall to eat breakfast. It's parents weekend. Lots of people around. I put two pieces of cinnamon-rasin bread onto the conveyor-belt toaster and fix myself a bowl of cereal. Then, out of nowhere, someone's mom swoops in and STEALS A PIECE OF MY TOAST! I was outraged. Obviously. I couldn't do anything, though, because she's someone's mom. You don't pick on someone's mom, but you don't mess with a man's toast either.
Any tips for handling this situation in the future? I really wanted to steal the toast back off her plate. Maybe say something snappy like, "Excuse me, ma'am, but I believe you STOLE MY FRICKIN' TOAST!"
Ah, well. The hazzards of college life.

I absolutely understand your outrage, yoast is jsut great, someone stealing it is...Wait, it actually is a crime... SUE THEM I SAY! They didn't deserve your toast, you got it yourself, they should've got their own. :P
Oh well...
