Well?
Can't that be used to show that you are expecting something from the one you're talking to? As in "Come on now, tell me all about it" or "Aren't you going to fix that mess you made?"

You're right!
The article failed to mention that usage which can express anything from mildly impatient anticipation to aggravated expectation.
It can also indicate a release from anticipation or expectation.
As in 'Well... (it's about time you got here!)'
