Ohhh thank you. It's just brown and water.

HOOORAYYY!!! I was so worried that someone was going to do a shoddy job on the Simpsons article and you've done a FANTASTIC job! smiley - smiley I'm just all giddy with relief!! I stayed with friends for about a year who had all 10 seasons on tape and they played constantly in the background whether we were getting ready to go, sleeping, eating... I'm a true Simpsons fanatic and I really really enjoy your article.

I added most of the quotes here:

and I love to go back and read them. HOORAY!!

I must agree with you,and thanks for the link. There are some quotes there I had forgotten about.

"We have a saying in Springfield,
If it's brown, drink it down. If it's black, send it back."

I just want to add another congratulations on an excellent and thorough article. This was wonderful! I've watched the Simpsons since the beginning and never realized just how many characters there were until I saw the whole list here!

It was real fun to read your entry!
I always see the German version, but it's also very enjoyable.

Thanks.

What does BArt, Lisa and co sound like in German then. I lived in Berlin for a while but never saw it on telly. Does it spoil it when you hear the German version after the American one ?

Well, to be honest: I'm unable to compare, as I only know the German version. But methinks, the voices are good matches to the characters, so it should be okay!

Thanks for all the positive comments everybody! Rest assured, finishing this article almost killed me. When I started writing, I couldn't believe no one had submitted an article about The Simpsons - three months later I knew why smiley - smiley

I dont know about the German voices but I have seen all of the series in English, and a good deal of them in French. NOTHING beats the English version though, its like getting Dubbed Anime, not even close, but it will fill a craving.
