1 Pound?

Where did you buy this Dönner? I live in Germany, but I never have eaten a Dönner for 1 Pound. A Dönner usually costs:
10 DM or
5 Euro or
3 Pound ( If I'm right).
In anything else your are right, but a Dönner never cost 1 Pound.
Dendemann.

Oh I'm sorry;
Of course a Dönner costs:
6 DM
3 Euro
2 Pound
But 1 Pound would be very, very cheap
1 Pound?

Well, of course it depends on the size of the turkish community of the city you eat your Döner.
In Bremen for instance you will have to pay as much as at least EUR 3,40. Although then you might even get lamb-Döner.
In Berlin, with a very big turkish community and a lot of Döner- Buden you will most of the time have to pay around EUR 2,20.
Which would be around 1,45 Pounds. So there might be cities were Döner indeed is only 1 Pound.
Oh and the most delicious sauce is of course the one with garlic in it.
greets
