I suppose it's because they don't wear dresses like they do in The Princess Bride??? smiley - winkeye

Bluebottle, what do you *think* Ringo does when he's drinking?

How'd you know, bluebottle? I love dresses, and Ringo's probably can't hold a candle to Buttercups...

That's true - I must admit that the lass who played "Buttercup" is FAR more attractive than any of the Beatles... but probably isn't as good a guitar player.

She's also prettier than Yoko. I've never actually seen a picture of Ringo's wife -- and I can't remember what Patti Harrison (AKA Layla) looks like. Linda was pretty, though, in her youth.

You see them all in the "Something" video - Ringo's wife was blonde, although I don't know that much about her. Other than she married Ringo. That's about it, really.
As for Layla, you see her on the train on "Hard Days Night" - she had that kind of schoolgirl look, even when grown up. Hard to describe - pretty in a St Trinnians way...

Did I mention my dad once danced with Linda Eastman -- he grew up in Tucson in the '60s, and I guess they were at some party together...
