Et, Tu, Que?

Kay, too, ate?
It is an odd habit of mine, when something goes wrong, to consider what I might have done to assist the difficulty. This is what I do first. Then, once I have exhausted my possible liability, I cast about for other areas of blame. Strangely, this doesn't seem to occur to anyone outside of paranoics and depressives. Politicians rarely see the need to accept their addiction to a cause celebre, even to the point of creating one as needed.
People are dying all over the world. Who's fault is it? The frailty of the human body? The inability of the science of medicine to spread its knowledge to more than a few? The willingness of political games players to factor in 'acceptable losses'?
The need of 'true believers' to have martyrs to justify their causes?
On the day that no one dies, no one will be born, either. Think about that. Whose fault will that be?
