A Conversation for Potato Crisps - A History

When I was very young (pre cheese and onion) my brother who worked in the fruit and veg market in Birminham brought home an unusual tip. A farm which he went to to pick up a potato order was also making its own crisps. They gave him a huge hessian potato sack of crisps. At first it was great fun eating massive handfuls of an otherwise compatatively unusual treat. then we realised that we would not be able to eat them all before they went soggy so we gave them away to the neighbours who were most appreciative.

Thanks for a great article!

BC&O could replace AD or even BC if it happened ever so long ago.
