Cheese is not an essential ingredient of pizza. While most of like loads of mozzarella on our pizza, there are some authentic Italian pizzas which have no cheese at all. So the correct ingredients are:
Bread, tomato sauce and ... whatever you like yourself.

Actually, there are traditional pizzas that have no tomato sauce at all. Just oil and vegetables.
Hmm, might make a good breadstick.

pizza without cheese, is like... nope. can't think of an analagy... its... unthinkible...
Though... as pitta bread (which is basically the same dough as pizza), dates back possibly to biblical times, maybe 'pizza', existed way longer than we think... though in forms we'd not recognize as pizza... hmmm... dough, bread type thing, with 'stuff' on it... maybe cheese, maybe not cheese, maybe tomatos, maybe not... maybe oil... sometimes veg...
