How very odd ... that wasn't there when I looked first time ... will have to call the PTB ...
As for the language issues ... still don't see your point I'm afraid Pimms ... possibly being dumb ... in fact it's more than likely!

I give up! The first tpyo has been corrected (probably at the same time as that weird link was thrown in - it wasn't there when I first looked either) which was in the first paragraph of the discombobulating section.
The second is in the footnote 'past the watershed' is better isn't it?

In a word, no!
In two words, no no!
Passed is the verb as opposed to its altogether more adjectival homophonic alter-ego, past ...

It was just a suggestion, actually I prefer 'after the watershed', not that the phrase makes much sense anyway on a website.
I to your superior knowledge of grammar.

It really depends whether the intention was "it is past the watershed" or "it has passed the watershed". I feel more natural writing the former, personally.

It could be a private design museum ...
as for the past/passed issue ... the latter was my intent ...

We've fixed those now - and to err on the side of caution, we went for 'after'.

Of course it should have been 'past'.
"It's passed the watershed" begs the question "What has?", whereas "It's past the watershed" is clearly using 'it' in exactly the same sense as that employed when refering to the time of day (e.g. "It's past nine o'clock"). What, if anything, the word 'it' actually refers to in this context is of course an open question, but I would guess that it must be the 'constantly-updating current instant of time'.
Does that help? Probably not. Pass that bottle, we're too sober by half...
