Another bit of insight from our beloved founder Douglas Adams, was the inclusion (on the starship "Heart of Gold") of doors with Sirius Cybernetics "Genuine People Personalities" - the doors were subservient and existed merely to delight in opening and closing for anyone that wished to go through. All very well in theory, but just too obsequious and creepy in practice.
Ugh!
