Good again, but not quite up to last weeks heights I reckon.

Much the best british TV show in ages....

I missed the4 first twenty minutes then paid scant attention to the rest, mainly because I was involved in a debate om the blinkin' internet!

Grr.

and Argh.

Nah, tonight was my favourite so far of the series. Mmmmm, Blue Nun, vol-a-vents, and cheesy hedgehogs...

Ah, the Blue Nun reference did manage to make its way into my head!

Oddly enough, I had a bunch of vol-au-vents last week. the flatmate had some cases in the freezer so he got jiggy with the mushroom and white sauce shenanigans. Took me right back to '77 so it did.

*wanders off in a haze of nostalgia, humming Demis Roussos*

The Tony and Cherie Blair gags were good....

Not the best episode....but still better than anything else on TV at the mo! Cheesy hedgehogs (wrapped in foil of course!)

Still have Slade's "Coz I luv you" running through my head - and most welcome it is too!

Well, that rocked. Am loving the 'BBC1 in Colour' gag. Enjoyed the episode too - it was good to see how reliant on the messages from 2007 Sam's become - he was clearly panicking that they'd given up on him. A nice change in tone from last week's pretty grim episode. Ray doesn't seem to have any lasting damage though - since whnen did PTSD bugger off that quickly?

Did anyone else get the irony of having that Santana song that's on the M&S Food adverts playing while Sam ate the cheese, pinapple & silver onion on a stick?

How many more have we got left?

Makes me sad that drivel like "Holby City" will be made forever and a day, and we get a series like Life on Mars once every five years or so.

There were eight in the first series so, if this has the same, we've got three left.

And probably another twenty years of Causality.

Boo....

In one sense though I am glad they are finishing whilst still in the prime. It uis sad watching ap rogramme you used to love fade into crapness after jumping the shark in a big way.

Currently for me "Scrubs" is car crash TV. A shame really cause its first 4 series were brilliant.

We wont have to see LOM do that.....

True. Mind you, if 'Ashes to Ashes' turns out to be more than a myth they could still go and spoil it all.

I'm just dead curious to find out what exactly is going on in Sam's head. Tonight's TV channel flicking stuff was class.
