Gymnastics and ballet really mess up a woman's body. Many, gymnasts and ballerinas, don't start menstruating until their late teens and some don't start until their twenties.

to my mind's eye that means theyre doing something not healthy and therefore contravening what the olympic games are partly about...

It can cause other problems too.
however, I think that generally, aside from screwing up the way their bodies develop, they do tend to be fairly healthy.

>>>generally, aside from screwing up the way their bodies develop, they do tend to be fairly healthy.<<<
why didnt that become a quote of the day?
on a sadder note...
my englishy guy is just tepid about me now... nice... helpful... considerate... but...
no shazaam...
no attraction i guess...
i feel so bad
not even friends...
fluffykerfuffle Posted Sep 10, 2008
and its not just he is not attracted to me physicallly....
he doesnt really seek me out for me... only when he needs help with his computer or something...
so its not really friends like i see friends... people who just like to be around each other ...even just to be bored and sleepy together rather than separately...
he is concerned about me but its just feeling sorry for me i think.... he isnt drawn to me

he's 56... i'm 63...
but he has girlfriends... and i just found out today that when he is gone overnight... he's not just helping out his separated wife... he's probably more often with one of them... i think that's part of it... that his relationship with one of them has become more lately...
sigh
its so hard... when i'm around him its fine... its just when he's not here overnight that it is so hard because i now know he's with a lover probably....
aarrgh!!
