We live less than a five minute drive from J28 of the M1 and it is a road we travel frequently.
There is some kind of chapel en route; and for the first time today, I noticed the large sign outside which reads: Last services before M1.

heading eastwards on M62 towards getting near Pontefract, there were 2 mileage signs(as usual
)1st "Pontefract 3 miles" approx 2 mile further "Pontefract 5 miles"

Theres a sign on the main road, heading into the town where i shop. It says, Regatta garden furniture, with an arrow.....pointing to a demolished building

The best one I have seen says "Do not leave your valuables in your car. Uniformed police on patrol" or words to that effect!! I will make a note of the full wording next time I pass it, as it makes me laugh every time. I might follow Nigel and put it on my wall!!
