I hated my uncle when I was little, dead scared of him... The uncle that lives down here, that is. My English one and my QLD one I liked. I like them all now, but my QLD one is probably the coolest...

well if you want my advise be sure to not be afriad to show your affection for your little nephew or neice... because i dont like over half of my uncles because they pretty much never talked to me... infact theres only one uncle that i have that i actually like and thats out of four...

Don't become an alcoholic, keep a job, and don't act like you have a board up your butt, and you'll have my uncles beat!

Yeah, but try not to use strange twisted adult humour on a four year old, that's what scared me with my Uncle...

yes. thats very good advise.
and maybe try not to be too much of a tease, because some kids cant tell when you're kidding and when you're not unfortuately i'm one of those kids sometimes....

Well, my Uncle's jokes and overall him work on me now, but when I was younger just did not understand them. And I only really ever saw him when he babysat us or at Christmas / Easter sorta thing and he was scary...
If you ever manage to only have one wife you'll be beating both my bloodu uncles... Although their first wives sucked. And my awesome QLD uncle's second wife was dodgy too, and he hasn't married the woman he's with now... I think he's over marriage... He's still awesome. He's my youngest uncle, and you can tell.

#6 from Adelaide/Della:
"Congratulations, Blackberry Cat... Is it a girl or a boy, so are you an uncle or an aunt?"
Someone else explain it to her please.

Yeah, but that's the thing, BC becomes and Aunt if it's a girl and an Uncle if it's a boy!

*subject change!*
It's just a jump to the left
And then a step to the right
Put your hands on your hips
And bend your knees in time
And then it's the pelvic thrust
That really drives you insa-a-a-ane
LET'S DO THE TIMEWAPR AGAIN
...yeah, no idea where that came from...

I knew what Adelaide meant even if it was a little oddly phrased
My sister has had her baby, it was a difficult birth but both mother and baby are fine
I am now an uncle and little Samuel Thomas Lea (no accounting for taste ) my nephew

I've had a glass or 2 since posting that so I'd like to invite all those who read this in the next day or 2 to raise a (virtual or otherwise) to Samuel Thomas Lea, may he grew up as lucky but wiser than his nuncle
