What a w*nker!
cafram - in the states. Started conversation Nov 21, 2003
So the best thing about being foreign in an all-American workplace is that the British guy and I can bag out the boss without him even realising it!
Americans, apparantly, don't know what the word 'w*nker' means, so as long as you use a polite tone, it's taken as a compliment!
Brit (appreciatively): Hey Brian (the boss), you're a really good wanker mate!
Brian: Uh...thanks!
I've also been asked (by a bank manager) how to spell Australia, and been complimented (by a pharmacist) on my mastery of the english language... - although in general people have been interested and friendly, and tried to control their sniggers when I talk!
What a w*nker!

And what language did he think you speak there? Swahili?
Honestly...
*rolls eyes*

Don't worry about your snigger, Shea....... I certainly won't be trying to control mine when *you* speak!
What a w*nker!

And what could *possibly* be wrong with the way Shea speaks?!
She sounds like a good ol' American - the proper way the English language is to be spoken!

I call my boss a dirty bastard and he laughs, but at least I'm honest about it.

I hate french. It suck's. My deepest sorries. I took french in high school & when I was sleeping oncwe I said to myself, Dale french really suck's. & I said yes I know, It is a hippostrois language with dull dual after tone's that leave a bad taste in my mouth. So I said to myself, myself let's go back to sleep, & I, myself said yes, yes, let's do.
Oh yeah if Shea had's to run cross this happy marriagege, I know I said congrad's before but, hey happy marriagege again.
French Suck's!!!!! SoRRy..............What a w*nker!

mmm...I dunno, I like French!
Everyone keeps asking me if I'm from Britain, although a few guess New Zealand or Australia...I feel like I need to get a big badge that says 'Australia, and yes, I have seen a kangaroo' written on it. It'd save so much time!
What a w*nker!
