Just recieved good news..Mom is resting comfortably and is showing steady improvment with vital signs such as blood pressure..
Keep the prayers and positive thoughts travelling her way..and think of my Sister,too!!!

Hello all..
I talked to Dad over the weekend,and it seems that he is doing reasonably well right now,save for a tendency to easily fatigue.He has been in good contact with my sister,and it seems that Mom has improved to the point of having been taken off vent and fitted with a feeding tube,meaning she is processing basic nutritional supplements...
Good news overall,I think..

I have received a very uplifting bit of news today...my Mom is currently starting to be ambulatory,and is now able to process a soft diet as well as tube feedings...very good signs for a woman who was so very distressed a few short days ago...
I thank all of you for the consistent inquiries into her health...

My sister just sent me a email describing my Mom's current condition..she is currently still improving,however, she has been losing weight ( 4 lbs ) and has recently developed a nail fungus..
My guess is that infection may turn out to be serious if not successfully put into check quickly.
Sister just got hired in newspaper advert dept. and has been at new digs for about a month..she is doing fine from what I can tell...
Dad is also recently been improving, but has had problems with skin rashes..had to get meds for that to keep from scratching himself to infection.
Please keep your positive thoughts turned in this direction..I will be periodically updating as I find out more..
