Yes, it would make some sense in keeping this thread somewhat updated...sorry,all

My Dad has been able to clear most of his infections and is now set for surgery soon..in fact,he may have already taken that step..I have heard no special news from his wife,and as that is the case, I assume that all is going relatively smoothly for now...he has my Sister taking care of him, as well as my Step-Mom...

If I can,I will go and see him soon...will be one of the first things I do this September.

for me! if a member of one of my friends family is unwell in any formirrespective of whether close or not (my own relatives included) at the end of the day, they are still blood therefore I hope for their overall health to improves A.S.A.P.

We all want him healthy..and I must admit,I have a lot to lose if all goes south...

I talked to Dad on Monday..seems he is in good spirits and awaiting his surgery on the 22nd of THIS month. It will be a aortic valve repair/replacement. Apparently the original bypass grafts are in good condition,so both my dad and I can hope that this will be a fairly straightfoward procedure,and he will recover soon. This would be a great thing for him,as he is looking foward to getting a second knee replacement surgery done as soon as all of this clears up.

I thank you for the continued support that you all have given!!!You,in the spirit of HooToo,and simple human decency,have provided me with a good source of calm.. to all of you!!!

Well folks..it seems that Lil's bits and bobs problems are catching...my Mom had an emergency op for bowel obstruction two days ago..and while fishing about to clear the pipes, apprarently the surgeon found somewhat he didn't like...this resulted in full hysterectomy.

I have that to worry about,and my Dad goes in for his surgery in the next few days...(flops from stress)

MS, that's bad luck having two of them ill. Perhaps it is for the best in your Mum's case? Wish your Dad good luck with the op. Tomorrow isn't it?
