I was chasing fireflies last night....I musta look demented, half crouched and flapping my arms in wide arcs and trying to bring em together over a flickering fly...
I didn't get one...
Try again tonite with my glasses on perhaps that might help...the mexican neighbours will be charging entry fees to the street to watch the mad white foreigner dash about in the dusk...

Its not dark yet!
I have to go now and extract G-force from the bath afore he turns into a prune.
Then Geo and I are watching a movie that we were too tired to fin last nite called Bubba ho-tep its rather wierd, about Elvis and a black man who thinks he's JFK together in a southern mental hospital with a resident soul sucking mummy of course...you can see the attraction can't you - we just had to rent it out..
Toodle o's for now!
Will have to look for a jam jar at some point too..

*Slaps forehead* Doh!
*Attempts to save face* Wouldn't that be the best time to catch them, when they're asleep?
Film does indeed sound *very* weird

~waves at Kea~
My bad, I thought it was a mental hospital when indeed it isn't, it was an old folks rest home...that Elvis, JFK and the soul sucking mummy were..
I couldn't find a jar, where are they when you need one..I had billions not so long ago..is there some kind of jar thief or jar eating virus that I should know about...I even considered emptying out a peanut butter jar - but decided that was rather too much work..
Fireflies will be here all summer I think? Shall go read up on them...I forgot to do that too yesterday whilst trying to catch up with posts..

This site recommends I have an adult with me when I try to catch some...mebbe thats a good idea at least they can beat the white coats off with a stick or baseball bat...

Two people minimum - one to hold the jar, one to keep them distracted with ... hmmm. I don't know - what is that fireflies like?
