h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

This has to be the hardest entry i have ever made.Today my mum passed away,after been in hospital for over three weeks.I am sad,but her pain has gone,and she isn't suffering anymore.I am sure she is in a better place,and looking down on us all ,,wanting us to not hurt.

we all know how much she has been suffering of late and now she is at peace.
you did all you could for her and im sure she cherished it and you will take thanks from any past comments she made as you look back over her life.

Ah to hear that Sal, but it sounded like it was a long time coming, thats the way my Mum went. It seems a cruel thing to say now, but in a way it was a blessing, as she had suffered for over a year.

as you know i lost a sister and cousin in less than 3 months, its hard to come to terms with the relations getting smaller and smaller,

you have other family growning up to replace the ones that leave us, so all though you lose one part, she helped by bringing you into the world to keep her family line going,

It has been lovely to know that so many people care,.
Yesterday was mums funeral,and we asked the vicar that she didn't make it a sad occasion,but as light hearted as possible.Of course we were all sad,and upset,but it was a lovely service,and with a little bit of well meaning wit.We sung onward christian soldiers,not a funeral hymn really,but one of mums favourites.Im sure she was watching us,keeping us all composed,and having us thinking about her 89 years,which were hard ,but happy.
