Well, Fri. & Sat. in the kitchen at the club(throwin' together 'finger food')...maybe some shoppin' earlier-grocery shoppin'. Not sure otherwise.

I grocery shopping...apart from that I can only really shop for books, music, or in army disposal stores...

Any other shopping usually gets boring very quickly...

...but I must admit I have one clothes shop that I love...but that's because the clothes are so "pretty" (so much velvet !)...and I get so distracted by shiny things...

This'll be kinda specialty grocery shoppin'...for some fairly traditional East Indian grocery items, like ghee, etc.

MMmm....ghee...

...oh...I didn't realise what time it was...I really must ...

My weekend was...well, let's just say it was in keeping with a lot of the weekends I've been having of late ......

...let's not forget, my life is a soap opera !

So yeah, I suppose it was ok , and how was yours ?

Hmm, posting seems to be a real hassle, which explains my slow reply -anyway, the weekend was quiet & essenyially uneventful. I did go grocery shoppin' Sat., but just to the local farmer's market. Got some veggies, etc...ooh,& some nice homestyle cinnamon/sticky rolls .

Man, what I wouldn't give for an uneventful weekend ....

My days were spent reading...but my nights were filled with strangeness (the girls at work think it's funny...and it probably is funny...if you're not me...)...but hopefully the next few days will sort some of that out......??

I'm sure it's all very exciting and amusing...and someday I'll look back on this part of my life with fondness...and be telling my kids how well sought after I was in my youth...

...but right now it's just bugging me no end...I just want the dust to settle, have the relevant deicisions made...and go on with my life......

Even though I knew you neant figuratively (light a candle), it is lit, it's a cappucino scented one that I hadn't burned in awhile, so your mention of lightin' a candle struck a nerve.

Mmmm...I could go a decent coffee right now...as opposed to the evil stuff they loosely call "coffee" here at work...

And I did kind of mean it figuratively...although I do still light candles when I'm thinking of something in particular (eg people's birthdays...well wishes...htings like that)...kind of a side effect of previous dabblings in alternative religions...

I'm doin' ok. sorry I dropped put the other day, I was tryin to copy something(hangover star rating list) when I got all dizzy and ran outside for a hurl. Musta been something I ate. It's funny tho that I was reading the last entry on the hangover list when it happened. It discribed the feeling well
