I took a count of the number of EG entries I've had accepted so far, and it stands at 87. I have three entries whose chances I like in PR now, so assuming that none of them are rejected, I'll have ten left until I hit that magic number.
My massive ego tells me to just ram through ten entries on Ohio's Contribution to Presidential Politics or Baseball's Contribution to Seinfeld or something , but I really want to take my time on these last ten and make them each better than the last.
What will I write about? I'd like to leave this site, when I eventually do, remembering with a sense of accomplishment...
I'm really asking. Ideas anyone?

*pours admiration on Jodan..*
Why stop at 100?
Anyway.. I guess the issue is what do you know about? Or want to know about, you write very well about history so why not expand on that.

Why stop at 100? I might not. Probably won't, but I won't be pushing myself after that point. I wanted to stop at 99 for a while, just to show I don't care about the damn Centurion badge, but I'm not going to do that either... I know I would rather dramatically declare that I am stopping at 99, but I wouldn't be able to resist putting another in PR.
History? I'm not going to say I'm out of history, but there's a very real possibility that I'm just going to have to start making it up

I was prepared to suggest that you write about the Kent State Shootings of 1970, but I see that someone named Jodan has beaten you to it.

You could do something on the Hopewell Mound Builders, or are you going to actually leave that one to me?

There is an obsure Ohio cement mixer built in Kent, Ohio that you have not yet written about.

Well, okay Phred, but I'm not that desperate yet
Scandrea, I've thought about that... I just don't think I know enough about them to do the entry justice. Plus, I really, really don't want to learn.

If you ever want to, read That Dark and Bloody River. My mom's into it now.

Rivers grab the attention like baseball
That is, barely at all.
These last ten entries before 100 have to be special... not the same old stuff I've been writing about.
I've lost track, S, I thought you lived up in the northeast corner?

I was actually thinking the other day about an entry that I would find endlessly fascinating to read, but haven't the time or passion to research. My second thought, of course, was that you might be the person to write it for me (I even briefly considered posting a thread to Challenge titled 'One for Jodan')...
The Negro Leagues.
About baseball, yes. But you might make an exception for it.
C'mon. You know you want to.

We all know that Ohio is dear to your heart, but there is a big world outside of Ohio filled with interesting things for you to write about.
An article about the Negro Leagues would be interesting. Good idea, Bro. But I'm afraid that if the Hopewell article is ever writen, it will have to come from someone else. I have nagged him about it several times, Scandrea, as apparently you have. I don't think it's going to happen.
