I have some scales
They are very special scales
They do not just measure weight, they also measure fat muscle and water content in the body 
My sister comes round and wants to borrow them, so I say yes
Deb: *brings said scales down stairs and pops them in the middle of the kitchen floor* right how do they work?
Me: *gives the scales a small kick and everything is systems go* just step on them.
Deb: what while you are looking
Me: 
Deb: you go first
Me: *sighs and steps on the scales* ohhhhhh 
I've only put a pound on over christmas.
Deb: No-one only puts on a pound over christmas!
Me: Well I do everdently
Deb: But you ate loads, you had loads of chocolate and now you have like a million cookies.
Me: *gives her a long suffereing look* Yes but I do this very stange thing called excerise *looks at the read out* ooohhh look that extra pound is muscle weight 
Deb: *mutters*
Me: *gets off scales* right your turn
Deb: Humph! you don't think I'm going to get on those now do you? Hah! you are sadly mistaken *flounces out of the house SLAMMING the door behind her*

i only put 3 pounds on at christmas and i think that was mainly because i wasnt cycling for 6 days while at home.
i usually eat everything and exercise it off.
i agree with cal. it is possible to only put a pound on.
what you did though cal was make her sensitive about her weight. slightly insensitive im afraid.

its all because i started cycling. i want some scales like yours. ive only lost 1stone since the begginning of the summer but gone down 2 dress sizes. put 3 pounds on over christmas!
think im gaining muscle.
