Gah!!!!
My internet went down last night, well to be honest I could connect to the internet I just couldn't browse it,
Turns out that a virus hit the system and although my anti virus deleted it some damage was caused to the system when it was deleted 
And it's taken me 2 and a half hours to sort it out

I used a (relatively inexpensive) data retrieval service to retrieve the most important stuff.
