Apparently all the new ACEs, even those that are ex-ACEs 'returning' are on months trial, hows does that work, do you get a ACE badge? 
we don't know what's going on...lack of communication.
It's been done in 'the dark' rather than 'open' as it was previously...we've no idea who the new ACEs are...
HB, I don't know what's happened about yours, have you checked your email that you registered on h2g2 with? Not sure I should have asked that, but if we're kept in the dark, we don't know what's going on, or what to say.
Though, it's unlikely anyone who'd been on 'pre-mod' would be 'chosen' not saying you have HB.

You mean I've been on pre mod? When? I'm truley shocked. I haven't been able to access the email I joined with for some reason. I've been modded a few times, one of those was apparently accidental and caused by a glitch in the system, but I don't remember being put on premod

if you can't access the address you originally joined on... then you won't have recieved an email because it would have been sent there TB....

I didn't mean that you had at all
I was simply using that as an example of why a volunteer might not be chosen...I did say "Though, it's unlikely anyone who'd been on 'pre-mod' would be 'chosen' not saying you have HB."
seems to be my day for confusing people.
I had a post moderated a couple of months ago, it happens to most of us sometimes.

ohh, a load of emails just turned up, and I do mean a load, including one about being an ACE, but they want me to remove the MP quote from my PS *sniff*... 
Oh well I'm sure I can find a replacement for it

I got that email, they said they were impressed by the way I handled their requests
not that it matters anymore, if I keep going the way I am they'll chuck me out before I get the chance to start
