Excuses for your hair .... shouldn't that be excuses for your lack of hair .... hate to be a bore - but do try to be accurate.

Hair today - gone tomorrow.smiley - whistle

It's not the lack of hair that's the problem - it's the lack of colour! Somewhat white.. started going like that about... ooh... let me think... when did I meet The Missus...?

It went white to show that you had a rare attack of wisdom in picking such a wonderful wife ..... what she ever saw in you I'll never know but hey - they say love is blind.smiley - bigeyes

Well, as we speak now, it's 14 years, 3 days and 30 minutes since I asked her to be my wife... Not that I'm counting, or anything...

Well got her home from guide camp and she'd only had 2 hrs sleep last night and was starving.smiley - doh

But ..... we had to go straight to rehearsals.

We got home around 5 and I made her some eats. Now, she's been looking forward to the final of The Apprentice since Wednesday's show but by 6 she was sound asleep on the sofa.smiley - zzz

I tried to waken her as the show was starting but she couldn't keep her eyes open .... I eventually woke her at 11 and helped her upstairs to bed - I hope she'll get up for school in the morning.smiley - rolleyes

I sky +'d the Apprentice - but when she asked I told her who won.smiley - evilgrin

She watched it anyhow and was as surprised as I was at the result.smiley - weird

Well the busy week is sort of over - we had a bit of drama at drama on Friday when one of the main characters didn't turn up and my darling daughter was asked to stand in for HIM at the last minute.smiley - rolleyes

She did well and carried it off with some humour - but I was so nervous I couldn't bear to watch.smiley - yikes

Still, she enjoyed it.smiley - rolleyes

I had a lovely surprise on Saturday when my chum from work turned up but an even bigger surprise when Beatrice - from hootoo - also arrived for the matinee performance.smiley - boing

It really made my day - they both seemed to enjoy the show and they became friends because they were seated beside each other ..... and we all know how Bea can talk.smiley - winkeye

It's just a shame they both had to rush back to their busy lives after the show - but we do have a semi-plan to reunite for the Take That show in the Opera House at the end of the month - that and the premiere of Em's movie - also sometime later this month. So we'll see what develops.

Beatrice

Well who'da thunk that "being in the right place at the right time" meant "being on Facebook at 8 am on a Saturday...."

a mate asked me once "did I see a program on tv the night before about the best and worst things you've done" at which the answer was no. He then asked what's the best/worst I had done, a dead easy answer "best thing I've ever done was get married, the worst thing I've ever done was get married"

The funny thing is Bea, I was only on facebook because there was an invitation on my email to join the BP group - so I did. Funny old world isn't it?

I'm glad I was on mind you - it was a joy to be surprised like that.
