Sorry, Pandora, but I sorta had my heart set on a somewhat defective model of "one of those" from down under ... but he wouldn't cooperate. I hate it when you can't get cooperation!! I put in my order, waited patiently for delivery, and I got nothin'!!! NOTHIN', I tell ya!!! The experience has turned me on the whole idea. He can keep his steenking red Christmas bow too.
Sounds like yours has become too demanding ... wanting a home cooked meal - of all things! The nerve!!! Tell him to go to his dish and lie down.
Thanks for the offer, though! It was kind of you to ask. I don't have room for all those flipping roses, chocolates and diamonds anyway ... and then you gotta dust the darn things. A big quarry rock is a great gift idea ... low maintenance ... that is, unless you leave it in the driveway and have to move it every morning to get to wo*k.
By the way, would you be interested in a used boss? He has to go. He's been uppity lately.

AW, you just made me choke on my lunch! Please warn me when something you're saying is going to make me laugh so suddenly.
But I suppose it's better than spraying my beverage out my nose.

It's bloody likely that no packages would get through to me anyway. We got lots of rain today, and *none* of it could get into the storm drain at the end of my street. That's right, a flooded street, which backed up onto my front walk and part of my lawn. Tonight it'll likely freeze, and the whole street will be ice tomorrow morning.
I parked near the entrance to the street, which is on higher ground so I can exit without going on the ice tomorrow morning.

So Paul how bad is it up that way? I just met this Lass from up there and I was curious. She's a nice one too. I think well I would really like to meet her RL.

Um, the rain changed to snow later, mixing with the water to form huge globes of slush . Then overnight, the slush froze, so that what I was up against this morning. But at least you can shovel slush.

Thanks Paul, a while back when we had that ice storm come through. It stayed for the better part of a week. I had to walk in it the first few nights I mean it was tough. I had to walk backwards cause the snow and ice was stinging my face not to mention the wind. It made my face hurt.
