Oh dear, and I thought we'd been more restrained today...
Thats three days running, Kerr. And none of it really remotely constructive. I think we should be proud.
Independant cinemas good. Saturdays little gem is showing at the prince Charles, just off leicester square. To increase seating, its built on a slope so you actually end up looking *up* at the screen. Great Place.

I thought we had too. Maybe everyone else is too *hopeful look*.
Ours is attached to Derby Uni's arts faculty, so it's dirt cheap too very old fashioned place with velvet plush seats and the like.

Cheap is good, though not common in London...
At a fiver a ticket, tho', the PC is about half the price of it's nearest competitors.

The last time we went up the west end, it cost us £27 for two adults and a child at the Warner West End.
Therefore a fiver each is cheap...

It's my spitual, if not muy actual home. I can't explain it, but there certainly couldn't live more than 15-20 miles further away from it than I do...

No spitting here you know
Have you been drinking this afternoon? Half your posts have been lacking somewhat in sentence structure...
I guess I feel the same about Derbyshire.... London wouldn't be so bad if there weren't so *much* of it. A lot of the individual bits on their own are quite nice, but there's no space in between them.

Not drinking no. Just trying to type faster in order to get more work done in between posts. I'm pleased to say it worked and my I can almost see a tiny bit of wood on one corner of my desk...? I nearly
The fact there is so much of it is the main attraction to me though...

Ahh. I've finished for the day. There's no space on my desk either- I tell everyone it's a highly complex filing system and the slightest change will bugger it all up for weeks.

I've finished for the day too. Probably just about the week, truth be told. Long gone are the days when I used to be able to actually clear a days accumulation ofg work in a day.
I think I'm about three weeks behind atm...

I get that feeling sometimes. It ebbs and flows quite a lot for me tho', so some days I'm casting around for worthwhile stuff, sometimes I've got a six foot stack of stuff marked urgent.
btw, I'm trying Brunel for the first time in ages today- I keep forgetting the little smiley buttons down the bottom

I always forget 'em, as you can tell by the number of dismembered smileys in my posts.
Why the sudden change to brunel?
We have a saying in our office. 'If *everything* is marked urgent, then *none* of it can actually *be* urgent.'

Pastey was raving about how good the tools were at the Birmingham meet- I've only just got 'round to trying it again. It seems very slow at times...
that's true about urgent, I usually end up shouting at all the people clamering for stuff and pointing out that all the time I'm arguing with them I'm not doing any of it...
Urrgggh. Half now. An hour's meeting on reinventing the wheel

Mm, we've not had one of those in a while...
I think management are actually trying to do something constructive, which is a bit scary to be honest...

It'll all end in tears you know... Don't they know they get shifted in to management becuase they're uselessm, they're supposed to sit there out of harm's way

Hmm, I can honestly say that my guv'nors are pretty good (says a man who will be deputising for one of them through most of August...).
Which merely makes the exception that proves the rule, of course.
Key: Complain about this post
