I guess we need some voting threads, pressuming there is sufficient interest... I think there is a Hull meet in October, so we can avoid clashing with that it'd be good, or any other meets, though its not so easy to keep track of what meets are being planned now as there isn't a regularly updated meet page for all* meets... (the upcoming community events page Ithink it was called...)

There are 6 Saturdays from October 23rd until November 27th. How does that sound as a range of dates to vote for?

and you may notice that some of us already started debating a spring meet in london - preferably on saturday 17th, if you ask me

Yeh, but no one has updated that page since 2008 and yes I did notice about the spring 2011 meet threads <zen. : I'm everywhere, nothing escapes me in my evil plans to read everything on H2G2

Oo yeh, those dates sound about right do you think?: I'm sure the Hull meet was very early* october, so it ought not clash with that and that should give us enough time to run some voting threads and still give people enough time to get somewhat cheaper tickets etc for trains and suchlike I feel a bit out of things when it comes to meets, as I missed the last London one, I think the first I've missed since I started going back in... err I dunno 2001 or 2002 I think Just noticed I've been organising the London meets now over five years... it doesn't seem that* long actually... doesn't seem that* long ago we were at the Olde London and thence before that the P-Oak...

ah, all right, yes, let's se what this leads us to then, shall we?

Well we'll have this autumn winter meet, which I guess looks like October or November; once that is done I can set up a meet page for the April spring meet if you want me too, and organise it from the Londonmeet account, if you want me to do that, I guess from the London meet account it might help attract more people, and we can have that as the spring meet in April... hmmmm... then how about a summer meet, july or august? with a autumn winter meet oct/nov/dec?

Whoa! Steady, 2legs... Just be aware of the numbers of attendees we have. And the Intercontinentals. I would have thought two Meets a year would be sufficient. Any more and attendances would drop and be very hit and miss.

But..........
Thank goodness Keith and I went to the one in summer of 2002 in Hyde Park/ What a lovely meeting it was.
