It's part of the moderators job to do searches for some of the more offensive offensive terms. Unfortunately the feedback given to the moderators isn't as good as it once was, and I noticed while still at the BBC that they have been removing words that are editorially fine.
How odd.

And who are you Mr "Sod off"? How did you come across this thread?

How subtle of you!
Reddyfreddy just sent me a photo of Tony for the gallery but I had to tell him I can only put actual hootoo members there.

Yeah, it's Mina, sorry about that.
I found the thread because I was stalking one of those annoying students and followed a thread to Hoo's page. And of course I can't resist posting when I think it might annoy Hoo's stalkers. Cos I can you see. Still post here. Ha.

Edward the Bonobo - Gone. Posted Feb 24, 2005
Catching up on this thread late....
I'd just like to point out that the famous 'Baa baa black sheep' is just as fictitious as the manhole covers one. Never happened. Newspapers cannot always be relied upon for the truth. Still, the bigger the lie...
Also...
I'm confused as to why the current Political Correctness is spoken of in the same breath as the Blair administration. They are guilty of many crimes. But political correctness is not one of them. A party that is caving in to the myth of an immigration crisis? That is 'deregulating' industry (ie watering down many hard-earned rights, decent, safe working conditions amongst them? Come off it.
They *do* speak an awful load of jargonistic gobbledegook, but that's not the same thing. Is it?

If I hadn't married a clean-freak with a powerful allergy to dogs, I'd have one named Stupid, so I can shout, "Come here, Stupid!" and, "Go get the ball, Stupid!" in the park. Doubtlessly, in another 40 years time this will be considered offensive to the intellectually challenged. Of course, if today's trend continues, in 40 years time that dog will have been more intellectually gifted than the average human.

Who's legion then Alf?
How does one get acquainted with one's stalkers?

Hi BtM
Be careful what you shout!
My son is called Conor. All over France I have shouted at him to get down off things, stop pulling the bottom can out of the pyramid and leave that dog/cat/old lady alone etc. He is a very active six year old.
I have noticed that the French often give me funny looks, some actually angry. This year a friend informed me that his name, especially when barked at a fast moving boy, sounds like the French for 'b*stard'.
Oops!
Blessings,
Matholwch /|\
