Oh...
Hey, ever hear of Gasparilla? It's a pirate celebration in Tampa. Every last weekend in January since 1904 a bunch of dirty cut-throats invade downtown, demand the surrender from the mayor, then procede to parade down the main streets, throwing beads, and coins, and whatnot.

Ah... yes. JOIN! Oh... hi. How are you doing? I've been kinda busy to really organize this into a cult-ish thingy yet... Maybe someday soon though.
How was everyone's V-day?

I'm fine And busy
V-day? Is quite new in Denmark. But many kinds of shops would like it to catch, obviously.
Shrovetide is our tradition this time of year. Kids dressed up, going from from door to door to sing and get sweets and such-likes. Grown ups sometimes have fancy-dress balls - copying the Carnival in Venice (this time of year as well). I went there once. Very impressive and with a racy history.

Interesting. We've got Halloween here in the States. Kids dress up as monsters and whatnot and go get candy. Italy's always had a racy history, but I think Eddy Izzard captured the feel of the place in his joke about riding around on mopeds and going, "Ciao!"

I spent Valentine's Day at work and then that night in the car with my mom & younger brother on a trip to Kansas.
