For school, I have been reading letters Keats wrote. He has VERY LONG paragraphs! Yikes.

All the Romantic poets were very wordy.

Recently I was reading some of Ralph Waldo Emerson's essays and travel writings. He met Wordsworth and Coleridge and Carlisle when he visited England in 1831. He found Coleridge to have a lot to say, but not any kind of real dialogue. Wordsworth was quick to write poems, but not very interesting (or interested) outside of writing.

Well, that must of been a bit of a downer, if he was looking for some great discussion or something!

Though I have absolute understanding for a writer who doesn't feel up to a chat.
