Machines of Loving Grace was the calming musical influence here today. Well, that and feeding llamas.

Llamas are nice. My aunt once house sat at an Alpaca ranch -- one of those things tried to kiss me. They've got baaaad breath. Ugh.

Actually, it turns out that llamas and alpacas recognize people by the smell of their breath -- which accounts for why they try to "kiss" people. They're just trying to get a better whiff. Ours don't especially have bad breath, though. Perhaps it was the feed that those alpacas were on.

Just so long as they aren't trying anything funny.

Jester, llamas weigh in at about 400 pounds each and, if they're males, have what are called "fighting teeth" in their lower jaw designed for slashing (though many llama owners have these teeth sawed off). You *sure* you want to try anyhing funny with them?
Oh, you weren't talking about llamas? Never mind, carry on...

Of what gender is Jester? I'm an opened minded guy, but I think I'd prefer that (he?) was talking bout llamas...

As am I. So you can try funny stuff with whoever you want to, but not me, unless you know me VERY well... and so far no male has known me that well.

I'm glad to see you're keeping an open mind. Just be sure it's not SO open that your brain falls out the back of your head.
