Every time I see H&K at the end of a message I think "Hechler & Koch, how did that get in there?" before I realize it's probably "hugs & kisses" in this context...I don't suppose those of you across the pond have this problem.

Well, this side of the pond is my side, of course 
In this case the side with the large landmass full of confused Americans. But we could always be moving around between replies, you know.
H&K = Heckler & Koch = firearms manufacturer. They make some machine pistols that are LEO (law enforcement only) and a very nice .45 caliber automatic available to civilians (in the USA at least).
Maybe it's just us gun nuts who automatically mentally append "USP .45" every time we hear "H&K".
But don't get too worried...I'm just a big (armed) teddy bear.
