AGM, It's almost 7.30pm in England and I will be very surprised, and relieved, if we hear from Rich tonight.

Part of me hopes he has done it, because I know he won't like being beaten, but the other part of me thinks he could well be smiley - ill if he has.

This is irritating: I see Skanky's on and posting, but he hasn't come here yet, and I'm ready for bed. smiley - yawn

So, glad to see you're alive, hoping your presence hasn't become too much more impressive, and all the best to the ponies - g'night.

Yes, I am here and still alive!

It was bloody hard. I think the first five or so were fine; after that it got really difficult to eat any more. Cream tea number eight took about half an hour to eat, and I won't go into what happened afterwards as some people may be eating this while having breakfast. Suffice it to say that I had a second wind and almost got to ten...

The worst thing was that I wasn't hungry when I started, despite having not eaten all day. Twenty minutes with the press beforehand didn't help, as most of the photos had Tyla stuffing a cream tea into my mouth for the benefit of the camera.

The important thing was to raise money money for the ponies, and we raised almost £500. This is almost enough for them to pay for volunteer insurance, meaning that they can recruit a team of helpers to ease the burden and take the charity on - Nat does 14 hours a day at the moment with work and running the organisation, so this will make a huge difference. Small amounts make a huge difference to small charities smiley - smiley

I should also say that £120 or so of that came through online donations, which is mainly you guys and a few friends that live away, so Nat has asked me to say a huge thanks to all of you as well as you having my eternal gratitude smiley - hug

Press reports as they come in!

Oh; I'd have posted sooner, but yesterday and this morning I was feeling sorry for myself, and tonight I had an enormous backlog of posts to get through. Sorry!

... and as sorry as I am that people were concerned that I was off getting my stomach pumped, it was all worth it it just to envisage GB waiting for me turn up with a scone and Leo getting out of bed to check on me. Forget the ponies, I'd do it again just for those reactions smiley - biggrin
