Titiana, I think your graphic is a lot better than spooks, at least you spend more than 30 seconds preparing it
*decided to abandon tact for lurkers here*

I'm not really here Posted Oct 5, 2003
I wasn't trying to have a dig at anyone else - Not even The Post. I was sick of him having a go at other people's work when his effort was about the level of work my son was bringing home from ICT class *last year*.
And no matter what he says, it *was* his graphic that made me put my foot down.

It doesn't matter, Mina...the fact is that your former position allowed certain people to say things to and about you that you had to swallow in the name of professionalism. Frankly, after a bit, once freed from that sort of restraint, I don't blame you at all for going off on someone occasionally.
In fact, you've been remarkably nice about their attacks.
And T, powerpoint? heck, I'm impressed!

F99011?thread=296304 -- Sounds like the mystery artist has been a part of the thread, to me.
Mina, did ~you~ do the Atled graphics?

I'm not really here Posted Oct 9, 2003
It wasn't me, some of the artists know that I can't draw for toffee. Seems rather familiar though. Must be because I saw it a few weeks/months? ago. Bit of deja vu or something. Possibly.

It looks like a graphic I've seen around here, myself...who knows where, though.
Geez. It's a simple question. I think he just wants to drag it out. I understand where you're coming from Lil, but I don't think you'll ever get the truth out of him, either out of spite, or out of fear.
Either way, he's going to keep avoiding the question, and SEF is going to keep attacking you for no good reason.

I tried to stay out of it, and if SEF comes back at me again, well, I deserve it for getting back in. But I just couldn't let that comment about his age having nothing to do with the situation go by. It has almost everything to do with it.
Off to work...

Unfortunately, he did not take your point. There is now in existence a new clause about disagreeing "in a stupid way."
*sigh*

Funnily enough I've just done exactly the same thing
Right, who's up for a sweepstake as to when that posting gets yiksed?

Apropos of something that was said earlier, on the Spaced Out thread -- how many BugFinders are there? I don't need names, I don't have an issue with them, but I am curious to know what groundswell of support is being claimed by the revolutionaries.

GreyDesk Posted Oct 10, 2003
There are seven bugfinders at the moment.
SEF, Tango, spook, Spelugz, Rho, Manda and me.

I was wondering because spook said, "I think you're about the first person who isn't a bugfinder who's agreed with me on something in this thread." There's a suggestion in that, that the Bug Finders stand behind Spook. And a suggestion, which I have heard before from SEF, spook and Tango, that the Bug Finders comprise a special elite who can see a lot of things the rest of us can't.
I dare say that up-to-date programmers can see a whole lot of programming things that I can't, but I wonder if it's correct to generalise from site bugs to, well, Life, the Universe and Everything...

GreyDesk Posted Oct 10, 2003
There have been some definite bugs found by the group, but it is fair to say that most of what happens is uncovering 'features' of the site.
As to being a united front? Well, not everyone is going to agree with everyone else all of the time, and some for all practical purposes weren't that interested in the whole exercise in the first place...

Mind you, I blame it all on the lack of natural predators in the modern world. There was a time when reflexive argumentativeness got you eaten.
"Run away? Why?"
