Yeah - I'm still doing as well as I can at school. I've got three assignments back so far this year (one in Geography, English and Japanese) and got an A+ in all of them *grins*

No worries Lass. I'm doing well. I had another on the job fiasco. Got fired. Then I was on my lass leg I thought I was going to go homeless again. Then the Manager who I thought was against me all along gave me a job and reahired me at a lessor rate though. At least I can maintain my home. I'm going to have to give up my fast internet service for dail up to save money. At least I'll still be online at home so it could be worse aye.

You were homeless once? I feel terrible for you...
But at least you have a roof over your head now. I'm glad you've got a job again.

Well Lass I've been homeless oh three times. No worries I always got back on my feet. Still I did'nt like being homeless. Everyone looks at you like you are of no worth. Not to mention you really meet some bad people in that condition.

I can imagine that you would. Last year the school had us all listen to this speaker who ran a free cafe in the city where homeless people could go and have something to eat and find someone to talk to if they wanted to. It was very cool and we visited the cafe, which was a great place. Before that I had a very stereotypical impression of homeless people, but now I can see that they're not all the same and they're all just people with stories who've fallen on bad times.
If anything like that ever happens to you again, is there anything I can do for you?

Pray Lass that it never does. I lived and worked at these supposed Christian Missions. Actually they used people as slave labour of sorts. the last one I lived at charged 90 dollars a week to live there. If you worked that is. The guy who owned it claimed to be a doctor of theology. Also owned the temporary work place the gave people living there jobs. So he made more money if your worked caused he would charge the companies the hired from him at least $9 an hour. He would in turn pay us $5.15 an hour on top of rent. If you got 24 hours or less you made $1 an hour to cover your rent. What a scam. There are places all over the country that does the same kinda thing. Maybe there are some trying to do the right thing. I wonder what God is going to say to them for doing that.

I have no idea. You have your own place now, though, right?

Yeah Lass. It was touch and go for a minute there. I prayed hard to God to help me, and he did. He has never failed me when it counted. He always gave me an out. That's why even in the toughest times my faith is still strong.

God has been good to me too. I'm glad that He's helped you out - it's a testimony to what true faith can do.

I'm glad you believe Girl. There's a lot who don't. I don't know what to think about them folks. Who knows maybe they'll learn.

Yeah - but I guess we all have to have our own beliefs. We have the power over at least what religion we are. And I've been brought up a Christian and have no wish to change. Jesus and God are what I believe in.

Things are great. I've been getting some of my assignments back and the marks have all been good, so I'm happy about that. Things with David are going well, and I'm going to jam with him and our friend (and our band's bassist) tomorrow, plus my friend from school who is the bassists' girlfriend, and we're going to the city and seeing a movie too.
Some of my friends are depressed at the minute but I'm trying to help them through it.
How about you?
