"Daughter of a Cacophony of Chrysanthemums" means absolutely nothing at all in realtion to myself smiley - smiley
I just made it up, it's there for no reason. I'm actually a Thingite, (the Thingites are a group on h2g2, we want to rename the days of the week - if you do a h2g2 search you'll find us). To join the Thingites, you had to have a silly name, and that was the first thing that popped into my head.
I guess if you want to know what it means, it's just a lot of flowers making heaps of noise. As they do.smiley - smiley

Yea I use to be in that group in 02 on my other page. Same name The Kid but the Thingite Was Romancer to the Relm of the Rediculous. Yep that sums me up. My real name is Don like Don Quiote` I sure you know of the tale. Same type always confronting what I concider to be wrong. Another reason for my condition. Never take on a fight where there's no chance in H**l of winning.

Well me father had the same name and the same problems associated with it.When he was in USMC he told off the President of the US. Well I guess I did'nt fall far from the tree. That's us FitzGeralds. Really I concider my past actions a form of stupidity but my ideals are a part of me I won't relinguish.

Lily a pretty name, a can see the reason for the reference to flowers in your thingite name.

Have you ever hear any Michelle Branch. I have Her Spirit Room CD I remember the vinyl but I like CDs better

I don't think I've ever really heard any Michelle Branch - what kind of music does she do?
I badmouth our current prime minister all the time - he's an idiot. I don't know why Australia decided to re-elect him this election, but I guess it was either him or Mark Latham, and I don't like Latham either. Pity I'm not of voting age yet...

Well on the kind of music the MB plays it's Acoustic Guitar kinda rockish. She has a great voice and talent as well. She writes her own stuff. If you have Launch radio or videos you can find her on that. If not just search Launch on the web. If you can get Yahoo messenger it has a launch radio with it. I like the thing you can access all kinds of music on it. You can set your prefs on it ther is nothing to download if you go to the launch web site there you can watch Videos and listen to a radio of your own choosing. You ought to try it you won't be disapointed. Later Lasssmiley - ok

*sigh* There's a problem with that...
Being at a boarding school, the school internet service doesn't allow us to have any kind of messenger service going, and if one's discovered, there's a penalty.smiley - sadface
But I could always try it at home...smiley - smiley

I don't judge people by their race, but rather by who they are as a person. I think racism is the one thing that's really stopping world peace, and while some people might like the idea of a war I personally don't.
So I try not to have any racial prejudices.smiley - smiley

I go eith the case by case basis thing. I'm not racial in any form as long as someone treats me with respect I give them respect as well. I always give a good front to people. that is I try to be nice to em. When I see that they are'nt recipocating the act in kind well. I give em what they got coming. I can be an ar*e if I want to be. I rather be nice though. As far as war is concerned If it can't be avoided then there is no choice. You got to do what you got to do. If you laid back and do nothing well you invite more aggression on yourself. Like in school someone starts messing with you and you do nothing they keep on bothering you until you do somthing about it. Same with countries. Do well in School Lass. Do you get a summer break so you can go home and enjoy your friends? We did when I was a kid, it was three months long. E'ya Later.

Yeah, we get a summer break - six weeks' worth. Being in Australia, summer is at the end of the year, Christmastime and all that. So we have Christmas and New Year over the summer break, which simplifies a heap of things, like we don't have to start school in the middle of the year smiley - biggrin
I've never actually had a cold Christmas where it snows and stuff - ours have always been bloody hot with fans going everywhere smiley - tongueout

Yea I kinda already knew about Christmas being in y'all's summertime. I read a book about a kid in Australia when I was a kid. In the book it was talking about Christmas and it being hot. So I asked my teacher about it And she told me about the Southern Hemisphere an how their seasons were the opposite of ours. That book was what inspired me to want to live in Australia. Do y'all get cold snow in June and July? Like we do sometimes in December and January?

Midnight Ice - the Daughter of a Cacophony of Chrysanthemums

No, hardly any snow here - but it sorta rains and stuff. Hail, too. There is snow up in a few of the mountains, but not really that much, and if you want to ski sometimes they man-make the snow because there's not enough to keep up with tourist demand. I've only ever seen real snow once, and that was earlier this year. It doesn't snow outside the mountains in Australia, to my knowledge. Most people travel especially to see the snow - it's kind of a novelty.

It kinda depends on the year hear. some winters we'll get 4 or 5 snows and some years it hardly gets cold. I don't like the cold. Not even a little bit. That goes for the heat as well. No i'm nt easy to please I guess. smiley - biggrin the humidity makes it hotter in the summer and colder in the winter. We have alot of humidity. In the summer you will sweat doing nothing just sitting still. It can be bad. Fall is the best time of year for nice tempertures. I still like spring it just don't last long enough.smiley - sadface Well you can't have everything.smiley - winkeye

I like autumn and winter, but I hate summer and spring (well, maybe not the beginning days of spring). But in summer you can't sit on anything without sticking to it and no amount of fans or anything can help you get cool. Except cold showers - they're the bomb. But with this drought and everything, you can't be guaranteed a nice long shower because of water restrictions and all that.
Autumn's cool because the leaves look pretty and the temperature's way better. And I like winter because you can rug up but it's easy to make the inside of your house warm, especially with central heating or wood fires.
