Yeah, we still do that...
One of my friends was caught chucking planes in Geography yesterday, so the teacher asked her to name three famous airports...
At least my Geography teacher has a sense of humour.

Yeah some of our teachers did as well. Once I was 13 and we were close to the end of the year like you. We had gotten our crayons back from art class we broke them up and got rubber bands for mischievious purposes. I took and was going to hit the tescher in the back of the head with a crayon. She had a rather puffy hairdo. Well just as I let the crayon go, she turned around and the crayon knocked her glasses off. Well you know what happened then. The paddle and its contact with me bum. That was the year that I received more paddlins then anyone in school. I was Famous because of that.

Heyyyyy Missy good news on the work frount. I had a talk with my boss. about my lack of hours in the work schedual. He inturned had a talkwith the Store Manager about the same plus my the fact that my abilities have improved. So the Store Manager informed my hours will increase back to what they use to be. YAY. Ehum I mean GREAT. I needed that. I've been praying hard for such a happening. I Thank God he brought it about. E'Ya soon.

Yay! <>
Did you get demoted before? Well, if you did, it's okay now, right? That's great news!
About the "Crayon Incident" - nice going! Although getting a paddle to the bum would probably not be the best reward...
I saw on the news last night that two European tourists in Brisbane (it's the city that's the capital of Queensland)... anyway - two European tourists in Brisbane got fined something like $700 each for extinguishing the "Eternal Flame" of the city. My friends and I cracked up laughing... it was so funny!

Them Euro types are'nt the brightest bulbs in the box are they. I liked that one. Feel free to share that kind of stuff with me in the future.
As to work They were trying to run me off for a while there. Every since I started working there I could tell there was some underlying tension as far as I was concerned. That has left now. I can be a great diplomat given the chance. I was'nt given that chance though. I had to show them I was a good worker yet that was'nt enough after a while. I was'nt fast enough putting stock on the shelf. that want us to put 60 pieces of stock on the shelf an hour. That includes getting the waste boxes and such disposed of as well. Well I have achieved that and more still for some reason the Boss and I was'nt getting along all that well. The Store Manager had someone to replace me he thought until they found out he was that interested in working hard.
I was felling all was lost until two Black Guys we are good friends. They went to my boss and told him they wanted me to get my hours back, because I was good at doing my job and they liked me as well. Still my Boss could'nt do much about it as the Manager have the say in the matter and my replacement was his girlfriend's son. Well I had a long talk with my Boss who was on my side on the matter about it the other night and he talked the the Manager the next morning, and vala as the French say. The Manager was being real nice to me*a trait he has'nt shown my way much if at all.* Anyway he said he would start to give me my hours back. YAY. I know I have'nt talked to you about it. I don't talk much about my problems to you or anyone on h2g2 cause I don't want it to cloud up thinks. I never seek out sympathy in any form so that's why I never told you. Cause it would make me feel uncomfortable having that to be in the air so to speak.
On the Crayon incident. Yes it was a great laugh. as far as the paddling well it was a badge of honour for us guys. We respected anyone willing to go out of there way for such a measure. I had the respect and admiration of all in the school for the most part. That was the year I had great popularity, and I enjoyed it much.
You Behave Girls don't receive that kind of notariety for such mindlessness. Ok Also If you like I would like to know what types of grade you get so I can give you congrat's on them. Only if you want too. It's not a requirement. Be Good Missy.

Midnight Ice - the Daughter of a Cacophony of Chrysanthemums Posted Nov 27, 2004
I bet you can guess what kind of grades I get...
I'm only saying this since you asked, and I normally don't like to blare them all over the place (at least, I think I don't...). I've got about 2 B's so far this year... the rest you can guess...
But you don't have to congratulate me on them. They're just grades.
It's good about your job and everything. It's a pity you kept getting put down, but it's all right now, isn't it?
*sees the length of the previous post and feels she needs to write more*
I just saw a movie with my friend and met her boyfriend, who is a really nice guy. We went back to his place and he lent me half of his CD collection - fortunately he has the same taste in music as me. I played a bit of guitar and stuff, and the movie was good - I had a great time. My friends are awesome... I'm so happy...
I think I might be meeting some more of her friends tomorrow, but I'm not sure. They've got a band so I might get a chance to jam. I can sing okay, and play guitar and stuff, so it'll be cool if it ends up happening.

Yes they are just grades but if you do well you can go to a better college. No i don't plan to give you the razz ma tazz about it. Still try harded Please. Only if you like. It will become important in the future. No more about that.
On the Job front all is well. I've got me hours back as they were.
I'm more than glad to hear you had a great time. What movie did you watch? Hmmmmmm. It matters not as long as you have a good time. Your friends boyfriend sounds nice. I mean to let you borrow 1/2 of his CD collection. Sounds nice enough to me. So You may start a band after they hear you Aye What with your Looks, Talent, and Voice your a shoe in. Though I have no knowledge of those attributes still I have no doubt in them.
No doubt the group surely you've heard of them? I like their music. The Girl is'nt that much though, in my opinon. Shes kinda cute in a scarey way. Not my type at all.
Have a great time I hope it will come through for you Lass. Later Missy.

Midnight Ice - the Daughter of a Cacophony of Chrysanthemums Posted Nov 28, 2004
I do care about my grades, but I have no idea what I want to do when I leave school. Do you have any suggestions?
The movie we watched yesterday was "The Forgotten". It was kind of scary near the end, but not blood-and-guts scary... more of a "everything-is-quiet-and-then-suddenly-someone-comes-up-and-yells-RAAAHHHHH!" sort of thing. Thriller scary. But we were in a mall, so we went and had a look at some music stores afterwards. I saw and pined for the new Powderfinger CD, but it was $30 so I couldn't get it.
And my friends' boyfriend (who, I found out isn't really her boyfriend because of a complicated series of past events but it certainly appears that they are together) didn't exactly lend me half of his CD collection - I exaggerated. It was 6 CDs and 2 DVDs which still isn't bad for someone you've just met. I was extremely grateful, too.
He's offered to help out with my hypothetical band if it ever gets going (he plays bass guitar). As for my "looks" (cough), supposed talent and my voice (which never does what I want it to, but everybody seems to think I have something there...) well, I might have a chance with this band thing. Wish me luck.
I'll send you a recording of my singing if I ever get around to it so you can hear how I REALLY sound, and judge for yourself.
I went with my same friend today and went to another of her friends' houses, where we had a good time playing guitar (and my friend's not-boyfriend or whatever he is brought his bass). Why is it that I'm leaving in a week and only meeting other cool people now? They're all very nice people... good for a laugh and easy to talk to.

The Forgotten hmmmm I'm going to havw to remember that one. Gosh CDs are expencive down under. Why I can buy em up here for less than $20 unless it's a double cd set then it's closer to $25
I sure you look good young lady. One person you should never be hard on is yourself. Remeber that one Missy. I bet you have a nice voice I have a good one meself and I got the beat, so maybe if I had some drums I could learn to play them. Your friends non-boyfriend still sounds like a good egg.
All of them new found friends of yours will still be there when you get back to school want they? Hane a nice time on summer vaction that's what we called it when I was in school.
I left you an E'mail in your Maibox Missy.

We start our summer holidays on the 8th of December, and we come back at the end of January. I'm hoping to come to Melbourne sometime in the holidays on a purely social note - to see friends and such, but I think I'm home for the rest of it. Oh - I might actually be working for a bit of it too... I don't know. But I'll be home for the majority of the holidays. It'll be a good chance to catch up with friends back home that I haven't seen much this year. I really miss them all a lot.
I will take your advice and try to have fun this summer, but I also want to attempt to accomplish stuff that I've wanted to do all year but have not been able to due to homework etc...
Like writing a song by myself, although me and my friend Fred on h2g2 have been working on one together, although she's in America and I'm here in Oz.
Thanks for the email - I'm going to reply to it asap. Oh... I still have to type up my story timeline thing too, don't I? I'll do that when I can too. Which will hopefully be soon.

We live about four or five hours away from Melbourne, and around half an hour from the nearest town. It's very isolated.

See that's what I want to do is live out somewhere where I can YELL and no one hears it. or I can go outside and not see a soul just be at peace. That would be so Cool. I did't see the part of your post if I had any ideas about your plans after you finish school. At the present I'm drawing a blank. Cept Computers something in Computers is always Good seeing how they are going to be with us for a long time. And you can get a Satellight hook up and lve where ever you want and work from home depending what you want to do.

Yeah - I think that computers would be an option, and I definitely want to do something involving them, but I don't know what. I also have an eye for visual design, and maybe something in forensics or criminal psychology... something. Maybe Identikit photos?
But I want to involve my music somehow as well... I really don't know what to do...

You could always use me in your criminal psychology studies Just Kiddin Lass. Well there is plenty of time to deside on that. You just need to find out what you might want to do. Make as many options as you want then find out what is required for them and go from there. You know look at everything that is reqired to get into the choice and see if you want to go thru it. do that for every choice you have, then you can narrow them down by your preference.

How many years of school do you have left before college? When I was in school they had this person called a Guidance Councillor. At the time I did'nt know what they did. It turn out they are help you set your goals as far as college is concerned. You know just like what I told you my last post. Do they have someone like that at your school? I's check them out. They could point you best options and what it takes to get you so you could secure the choice you made.

I have three more years left of school before I hit the "real world".
And they have a whole department at my school devoted to careers and that. I guess I could drop by there - I think next year it's compulsory to do that... I'm not sure.

Good that's the place. I mean they would have alot of information for you. When I was in school No one told me anything about it. I guess they expected you to know. Go figure. I don't think they had a big interest in us. As compared to they do y'all. Is'nt the school you go to a private school?
