I've never had a hamster, although I have had many, many goldfish (all now sadly deceased).

I'M BACK @ SCHOOL AND I'M CRAZY BECAUSE I COULDN'T BE HAPPIER!! They gave me my /own room/(that was in italics, btw - for emphasis on the "own room" bit).

My OWN ROOM!!! Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!

i had my own room in europe... it sucked! especially in france... but i had roomies in france... it was a scary hotel and i was SO glad i had rommies! then in rome... haha i wish i had rommies cuz i couldnt figure out how to turn on the lights!

(I wasn't actually roommates with Steph at all last year - she was in Year 7 and I was in Year 9 and they usually group the same year levels together, but we were friends anyway ). But yeah...

I use Brunel, and yeah, my room is pretty big... or I guess it's just empty (or it seems that way to me). The furniture is all up against the walls and there's one corner where there's no furniture at all...

I'm auditioning for high school. It's hard. You know I go to an arts school now right? Well I had to audition to get in there, other wise I would have had to go to the school I’m zoned too which is close by my home and a real crap school. But I auditioned for theater and Communication arts and got in to both! I chose communications and even though it’s far from home I’ve been going there for three years. BUT, now I’m too old for the school and I have to go to high school. We’ve located an Arts high school which is also far from home but it’s REALLY good. Mostly every one from my school is goanna audition for that. Any way I’m doing the same thing again (theater and communications) and hopefully I’ll do well and get in because if I don’t it’s Druggie-bused-in-crap-F-school for me. WAAAAAAAAAA!!! My first audition is this saterday!!!! HELP ME! I’m sooo nervous! I’ve missed you guys so much. I’m only typing this as a therepy thing for me so that I can get over my nervous melt down and continue tweeking my speech!!!!


When it’s all over… I’m gonna post the LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONGEST journal ever created. Watch out!

youll do GREAT! and even if (by some miracuous meteorite smashing your brain in so you dont make it) the regular highschools are ok... if you really dont like the one where your at, come to EHS! its AWSOME! and im not a druggie so not everyone is <:P im looking forward to reading your journal! yeah you might not be a druggy, but things are different here in FL. you either get As and go to a magnet high school, or you flunk, go to an F school and become a druggi. Seems as magnets are becoming overcrowded, you now are zoned to a certain school and have to go through an audition process to get into a special school. Our schools round here are really bad. People get shot, the teachers are awful, and most parents end up either home schooling their kids or sending them to boarding schools out of state. I have 3 friends who will be boarding next year just because of the local schools. Alot of ritcher kids go to private shcools too. But we can't afford that, so I've got to get into Drefoos because Suncoast won't except me bacause I didn't put them first choice, and Jupiter High only ecepts 30 kids out of hundreds.

Pray for me... or what ever!

oh man! lets see... we have elementary, and you go to the one nearest you... then you got to JR high.. the only one in the town.. then the only highschool in the town... plathetic, i know

I actually liked the local school I was going to, but my folks thought that there were more "learning opportunities" in the city or something. So they made me sit the scholarship test in order to get in here, and when I got the scholarship I was definitely going.
In Australia there are some schools that are worse than others, and some which are definite "druggie schools", but there are a lot of private schools too. And I think no matter which school you go to, you always have to wear a uniform (I hear in America you don't normally have them?). But even at private schools like mine, you get druggies. You get them in every school - you just learn to stay away from them if you don't like what they've got.
