oh well it doesn't matter. It sounds fine.
I took the lyrics we had so far and showed them to some vocal and musicly talented people at my school and asked them what they think.
Hannah said that it should probably be a slow, or more mellow tune. Not like hard rock stuff. Something morning full, seems as she took it in the way of being angrey and sad.
Your the music brains here, so sorry, I don't have anything else.

OH! and by the way.. the "it doesn't matter" was about the grammer thing. I DO think that defining that stuff matters

Cool, I'll try a slowish sort of tune in a minor key. How does that sound?
Had any more lyrical ideas yet?
What did the musical people think of the lyrics themselves?

Hey Fred, I've written the basis of the music. Can you write some more lyrics? I'm trying to figure out a way to get near a computer so I can record it and post it over to you without having background noise from all the other people in the boarding house talking and typing and all that.

hm... that does present a problem.
You could yell "Quiet on the set!" that works at my school... but then again its a rule at my school.
Or, you could get every one to help you, you could all sing what we have so far together. it shouldn't take too long. right?
i am working on the lyrics, but everything i right stinks... i need inspiration!
here are some pictures that might inspire us!:

Here are some words:
pastel
mystic
drama
empty
eyelash
opus
fallen
night
ashes
I've got the music now - me and my friend are trying to work out a few harmonies and stuff...

well good luck,
here's another verse:
Some get bored with how time lasts,
others think it goes to fast,
and yet to me, time has no boundary
the sound of silence won’t let time pass…
i don't know if the sylables fit right at the end. Do you have any suggestions?

Some get bored with how time lasts,
Others think it goes too fast,
But time for me hath no boundary,
The sound of silence won't let it past...
Is that any better?

erm whats hath mean?
is that my limited vocabulary or a typo?
The'res still the same amound of syllables, but does it flow better to the music you have so far??

Midnight Ice - the Daughter of a Cacophony of Chrysanthemums Posted Nov 16, 2004
"Hath" is from Shakesperean English - it just means "has" but I thought it sounded cool.
I actually haven't tried this lastest verse with the music yet, but it should be fine. If it's not, I'll change it some. I'm still trying to figure out how to record this without everyone staring at me like I'm a freak - singing to the computer and playing my guitar...
I mean, I like computers, but to serenade one..?

Just explain to every one whats it's for, or if they give you any trouble, pull the fire alarm, and wait for every one to leave the building.
Is there any time when the room the computer is in would be empty?

Midnight Ice - the Daughter of a Cacophony of Chrysanthemums Posted Nov 17, 2004
I think times like maybe seven in the morning it would be free, but people would still think I was strange if they walked in and saw me sitting there with my guitar singing to the computer. Maybe I could try the computer room on Sunday mornings when it's technically supposed to be shut, and plead with the staff to open it for me so I could record it in silence...
Hey - that ain't such a bad idea...

Yeah! And ask a really nice teacher, you know, an understanding what that lets their students lack a little more than the others.
You do have those in Australia right?
