Mainly because of the music I listen to but I went downstairs to get a coffee and spent longer downstairs talking than i meant to. I came back upstairs and last.fm had a message saying
"We'd hate for Menthol_penguins' recommended radio to fall on deaf ears so if you've taken a long distance phone call or been eaten by a bear we've paused your radio so you don't miss it"

Eddie Izzard is definitely going on it, probably the box set.
Theory Of a Deadman (possibly)
Brain Drill (possibly)
Money for my computer fund (i'm sure everyone knew that was going to be on there
Speakers (they probably won't make the final list)
Hmm, there must be some more to go on there

And it's lightning quick booting from my usb stick. I hope its as quick when fully installed. It's not as slow as it has been before running from my usb stick.
I like the new look of GNOME (the window manager), and i'll get back to you as i find more stuff out about it

Lack of USB ports

is really starting to annoy me. I have 2 and i have a mouse and a keyboard plugged in so i can' plug my memory stick in without unplugging one which make life difficult.
and i refuse to by a hub when i plan to build a new pooter roughly sometime after December. damn you h* for making useless laptops!!!
