strange the way we are welcomed to the site then left to our own devices to create havoc never to be ACE'd again, sdrry to activate this again bunns but seemed a daft thing to smiley - laugh

Hmm, I think we are expected to complain about each other and ask questions of people who should know better than our own ACE's. It is strange though, Ive not actually spoken to dear Uncomformity since whichever december it was. Was my first friend here and I havent said hi again...smiley - sadface

strange though, I activated my old ACE welcome and got a reply right away from the original ACE poster whom was very suprised by my interest, suggested that all I wanted was some after caresmiley - laugh

All Aces remain subscribed to their original post, if you ever do need some aftercare as you put it, all you need do is post on that thread smiley - smiley. I'm not an ACE any more as I now have a baby daughter to fill my time, but I too am still on hand to all those I've welcomed to the site. ACE's welcome hundreds, well thousands really of new researchers, most of whom don't stay onsite for more than a couple of hours before logging out never to log in again, so giving follow-up messages is rather impractical (though many try anyway smiley - smiley. The ACEs are always available to help out or to chat to at any time however and if you want someone to check up on how you're getting on now and then just say so smiley - biggrin

Good to see you're still about bunnyfrog smiley - ok

What is it with hootooers and new babies lately? smiley - biggrin
I hope yours is as lovely as you are and many years of fun ensue. If you want me to send some bibs and things, please do say so, my godmother for some reason gave us a boxload of baby stuff the other week. But aside from that I really am glad you are well and talking to me smiley - smiley

We've also been given a couple of boxes of baby stuff and recieved more parcels than I normally get in several years. She's only five weeks old but can smile now and amuse herself for a bit, which means I actually have a little free time again. smiley - biggrin She is lovely though..

..I'm afraid I could go on about her for ages and ages smiley - blush

I hope your well too smiley - smiley

Hello again, darling Uncomformity smiley - smiley
Is the baby well? More to the point, are you? Lately I find people with frequent contact with littluns go dotty smiley - biggrin

Laura

Oh, I was dotty to start with smiley - laugh

Milly's doing well, three months old today smiley - bigeyes. Where does the time go? She's fast asleep at the moment though smiley - biggrin

Im never sure whether I hate babies sleeping or not. When they are awake they are full of giggles and so on. However, they are also awake smiley - tongueout
Time seems to like dribbling past for me as well, I wake up after a long week and its next week and I get very upset that Ive done nothing useful.
You cant be that dotty, you are part of this lot *gestures at h2g2* which make anybody look sane by comparison smiley - biggrin

bunnyfrog, you've been ACE'd

Post 15

Laura

Oh, I like her awake or asleep smiley - biggrin, she stays very cute. she is beginning to stir though so won't be asleep much longer. Then she'll want to feed and then be sick on my shoulder again and add another spotch to the carpet smiley - smiley

H2g2 is made up of quite a collection of charectors certainly smiley - biggrin

Hehe, carpets and babies never mix. My iccle nephew when he was smaller was caught joyfully ripping up clumps and trying to eat them. Does she appriciate the art of peekaboo yet?

bunnyfrog, you've been ACE'd

Post 17

Laura

She does like peekaboo, but prefers playing with her bunny and blanket. Lampshades are also a cause for fasination smiley - erm
