Haven't heard from you for a while, nor been able to contact you, so I thought I'd drop by and say hello.

Not on weekday nights now until June but that shouldn't stop a friendly word.
I have always said that there should be a waving smiley.

Nothing much has happened. We're going to a ladies festival on the 14th. Which has meant Colleen has been trying on this dress and that dress. No matter what I say it's wrong Is this too formal? Is this too sexy? Is this too thin? I've learnt that there is no real answer to any of these questions. I keep saying what ever she wears she'll look nice in.That doesn't help, she says it is a cop out It's like that old joke, there are two sides to a relationship. Hers and the idiots.
My car is having problems, the catalytic convertor has gone and will cost £300 to repair. I've finally put it in for part exchange for another car. Collect it on the 8th. Don't want to as I liked this little car. It felt comfortable to drive. It is a Hyundai Accent. Bright red. Still we'll have a new car to go to the ladies festival in. That is if I can loose two inches off the waist and fit into the tux Still a commberbund hides all sorts of secrets.
This Saturday one of our locals is having a happy hour with guest beers. Hour? Well it lasts from 20:00 until 22:00 so two hours. Guess where I'll be

Sorry we seem to keep missing each other...I had a week off to recover from a wisdom tooth extraction...turns out I didn't need so much time after all...but at least I got to spend more quality time in my pjamas !!

See, it's all very well and good for boys to make fun of girls who fuss over their clothes...but innit weird how it's always the same boys who make fun of girls when their clothes don't fit right ?

And a 2 hour happy hour is the best kind !

I want her to look nice and to enjoy the evening, but it's just all those outfits. I have this mental image of me driving down the road with a wardrobe on the luggage rack.
New car is terrific

Yes, I thought that might be the case, which is why I spent a great deal of the weekend (and Monday night) a little...well......happier than usual ....

...has she got anything long (I say long, I mean below the knees) that looks nice with a jacket? That way she can keep warm if it's cold, coll down if it's too warm, and won't spend the night worried that everyone can see her knickers !

Brilliant weekend. the weather was perfect so hot and sunny with bright skies. For the dinner & dance Coll wore this black bead dress which cost £300. When we walked in and the toastmaster called out our names, I've never felt more prouder. Really everyone did turn to look. She was fantastic.I had photos done.Then after the meal and speeches she slipped off to change into this red chiffon dress. I am useless at fast dances, but we had all the slow ones. and never have i felt so good, going around the floor. A friend's son's 12th birthday Sunday and Saturday night we had him presented with this cake, which Coll and I had been out and bought. Embaressed the hell out of him. Then his father presented him with the trupmet he wanted. He is a good player for 12 and was overwhelmed with the event. The Saturday we sat on the beach and watched the sea and the people on the beach. On Sunday we stopped off at this restaurant and had a nice meal arriving home at 5. The whole weekend could not have been better. it is rerally nice being back at work
