h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

thanks... I just wish I didn't have to grow. I miss the old me... although i like the new me too. I'm so much wiser now, but before I knew less and there for wouldn't have to worry and realize how totally screwed my generation is. All our ancestors and Elders totally screwed uo this world for us. Do you know scientificly the world is predicted to completly collapce in 2125(because of what humans have done to it) if the state it's in doesn't improove?! And in the bible somewhere... (i'm not extreamly religious although I love religion!) i'm not sure where though... one of the prophets aparently predicted all the popes (like when they would become and how many and things) and he was pretty acurate too... but at the end of all the popes there was the opocolypse(sp?) and acording to his countings we only have two popes left before we all kill ourselves!!! (sorry this kind of is drifting away from why i don't want to grow up.. but it's interesting) which if calculated and avaraged out... happens to end up around the same predicted time the scientists predict the end!

And some other religion ( i can't remember which we learned this all in the 6th grade) and some branches of Christianity too, it is said that after the opocolypse, heaven and earth combine and/or the dead are all woken up to live forever, but they're woken up in reverse order so it would be from the opocolypse back, so our generation would be part of the first to be woken! And then theirs some stuff about how every one will be pure because the evil vanished when everyone died or something, and so every one will get along in a tottally overcrouded world and if you decide to stray from the god/gods/thing/person in question... you just cese(sp?) to exist... which I think I'd like to try, because I want to see what it would be like to stop exi----

There's a little flaw with trying an inexistence - it's impossible to begin existing again afterwards.
Have you ever read the book of Revelations? It's the last book of the Bible and the only one I've read the whole way through. Anyway, it describes the Apocalypse and what is going to happen - it's a bit scary, actually. Remind me to say something regarding the end of the Earth and the Pyramids - I was going to say it now but the bell just rang and I have to go to Maths and I know I'll forget between then and now if I'm not reminded.

Okay - what I was going to say was this: In the Pyramids of Giza, there's this timeline thing running through one of them (can't remember which) and when the archaeologists looked at it, they saw that it ran from whatever BC the pyramid was built into the future, with notches in it to mark predicted specific events (which I think all happened) and then the line ends at this wall at (you'll be weirded out when you hear this) September 2001. And although the world isn't over yet, we all know what happened in Sept. 2001, right?
I read this before Sept. 2001 and then re-read it afterwards and remembered being slightly creeped out. Maybe that event is what will escalate into a chain of events which will bring about the end of humanity??

The apocolypse wont happen.... heh sorry, Im not a religious person.. but more of a scientist... I think the sun will blow up or we will all kill ourselves... something like that... but heven or he..ck... if they exist or not (thats an issue at our school right now....) wont come into combo with the earth.. sorry... I need scientific evidence that there actually is somewhere in the after life... Im such a downer!.. however I think theres somethng like reincarnation because my last life... yeah... was like... a Myan.. or some sort of tribe.. and there was a hudge house building and we were all eating there and I was carying a beautiful bowl full of food and there was a celebration... then I watched this explorer show and they showed the exact same bowl and building and it was just amazing...

I'm not very religious either... but I love religion. I don't beleive a god created us... I beleive religion created who we are to day... I beleive that 'God' Is beleife itself. Yeah.. but today... my eye spazed out on me.... and i could see these different colored glowy thigs around people and it was pretty and my brother thinks I can see people's oras.... he can sometimes and I know people who can. And our whole family has a history of phsycic dispositions and yeah... sometimes... stuff happens and...

So is EVERY ONE!!!!!!!!!! Gaaaa! Brandon and Kathryn (my 2 hhg homies) won't get back from their band trip until May 1st, so the next time we'll be able to see the movie together will be May 6th! The day the movie was first schedualed to come out! They miss it too!

But I'd rather eat pre chewed bubble gum then miss the movie!

I saw the preview today!!! They make Aurthor sound like a hero... bleh... and ZAPHOD HAS ONE HEAD! and Ford is black! Zaphod should be black I think!

Zaphod has 2 heads.... ones under the other.. douglas i beleive made this change because the side by side bbc mini series way didn't work. Yeah I'd like to see a black zaphod.... but aparently they did that in one version, and also aparently they guy who is zaphod is really good.

I also heard that Mos Deff as ford is very different. He's a more laid back ford not the spaztic David Dixon version or a really "oh who cares lets get drunk" version of Geofery McGivern. So this should be an interesting new take on ford. In my mind when I read the book he was the kind of guy who really doesn't care and take the blows as they come.. more like the radio version so we'll see... Also, This version of Arthur Dent isn't as over the top brittish (that was funny though) that simon jones did. And marvin will never be as good because Hammer and tongs had a dumb ass moment and didn't hire stephen moore (the old marvin) as the voice of marvin... EVEN THOUGH douglas said that stephen was the 1 person he would ever even think of casting for marvin. GRrrrrrrrrrrrr.... thats the only thing that REALLY ticks me off!!

I like Alan Ricman as the voice of Marvin... he suits it! but he needs to talk slower... the thing i dont like is that he is so short! ARGH! I hate that! And Im still waiting to get a poster! Stupid theather by my house wont have the h2g2 movie in it! *pout*

I'll see it and then I'll know if it was like what I thought about the books. But Zaphod with heads side-by-side is the only way I've ever seen him. Ford should be interesting - I've never pictured him that way... but we'll see, I guess.
